WILLIAM RAY JR. ELECTED POA PRESIDENT FOR
2006-07
Board newcomer Fletcher Pilling appointed ARC Chairman
(Posted 8-15-06)
William Ray Jr., a Realtor and four-year resident of Ivy Hall, has been
elected President of the neighborhood's Property Owners Association for
2006-07.
The Board of Directors during its regular August meeting voted
unanimously for Ray, who has been serving as chairman of the
Architectural Review Committee. Ray succeeds Bob Lang, who stepped down
after three years as president but remains on the Board as Web
site/Newsletter coordinator.
Taking Ray's place as ARC Chairman is Fletcher Pilling, a longtime Ivy
Hall resident who was elected to the Board at last month's annual
meeting.
In other office elections, Gary Jaster was voted to another term as
Vice-President and Robin Richardson was voted to another term as
Secretary. Carol Kennedy was elected Treasurer and will continue as
chairman of the Welcoming Committee as well. Carol succeeds former
Treasurer Gary Brown, who left the Board in July after many years of
service.
Rounding out the current nine-member Board are Dick Clarke, Chris Morrell
and Ivy Hall newcomer Sheila Anderson.
Officers of the Association are elected by the Board at the first regular
meeting after the annual meeting in July. Terms are for one year.
