ROGER CLYDE SELECTED TO FILL VACANCY ON POA
BOARD
(Posted 11-2-09)
The Ivy Hall Board of Directors is pleased to announce the addition of
Roger Clyde to its nine-member panel.
Clyde, a retired SCE&G lineman and seven-year resident of Ivy Hall,
was selected by the board during its October meeting over a field of
nominees.
No stranger to serving on boards, Clyde is a former ranking officer of
the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 398 and past
president of the South Carolina Electrical Workers Association.
Clyde is committed to keeping Ivy Hall a beautiful and safe community
in which to raise his family. He and his wife Jennifer have four
children.
Clyde fills a vacancy created by the recent resignation of longtime board
member Gary Jaster, who left for personal reasons. Clyde is obligated to
fill Jaster's term, which expires next July.
The board sincerely thanks all the nominees for Jaster's seat.

HALL'S MR. FIX-IT: DAVID WHICHARD
(Posted 11-2-09)
Ivy Hall has some of the most
caring, conscientious residents in all of Mount Pleasant.
Case in point: David Whichard.
Whichard, husband of POA Board member Rebekah Whichard, recently
repainted our mildew-stained message board and repaired a broken wooden
frame on one of our common-area garbage cans.
Nobody asked him to perform the services, and he sought out no payment
or attention for them. In fact, he'd prefer if nobody knew. He just
wanted to help out the neighborhood.
Well, David, sorry to blow your cover. We're just awfully glad you're
part of our Ivy Hall community. THANK YOU!
